All New Kia Cee’d

We still think the apostrophe in the ‘Cee’d’s name is a little bit unnecessary and confusing, but you have to admit the new car is very good looking indeed.

It’ll replace the current car before the end of the year, and have its official unveiling at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, exactly six years after the original car was launched.

The current car is a very handsome runabout, but the new one looks even better – not only does it look more aggressive, with the new headlight design and LED daytime running lights, but the ‘tiger nose’ looks much more imposing.

As well as the impressive exterior, Kia promises a higher quality interior too: ‘it features a completely new interior hallmarked by a more premium look and feel, higher perceived quality, improved switchgear, touch-screen technology and enhanced driving position ergonomics with a cockpit-like design’. The only word to worry about there is ‘perceived’, but we’ll have to wait until the launch.

Prices are likely to say the same as the current line up of Cee’d models.
