Brabus CL800 Packs 800 bhp

Brabus has looked at the Mercedes CL Coupé and decided it just wasn’t powerful enough, so they’ve added more power than would ever be necessary.

The standard CL has a 5.5 litre V12, but now Brabus has increased its capacity to 6.3 litres and fitted it with two turbochargers.

As a result, this big Mercedes has 800 bhp, and 1,047 lb/ft of torque, which is limited in the car to just 811 lb/ft.

To give the car a fighting chance of putting the power down, the five-speed automatic has been beefed up significantly, and a limited slip differential has been fitted.

0-60 mph takes 3.9 seconds and the top speed has been limited to just 217 mph.

And to top it off, a nice carbon-fibre and leather Brabus interior is fitted as standard.
