Goodwood Revival to Celebrate Life of Jim Clark
The parade will feature not only some of F1’s big historical names, such as Sir Stirling Moss, Sir Jackie Stewart, John Surtees and Tony Brooks, but some of Clark’s famous cars as well, including his 1963 F1 World Championship winning Lotus 25, his 1965 Lotus 38 Indy 500 car, and his 1964 British Saloon Car Championship winning Lotus Cortina.
As well as celebrating his life of racing, the Revival crowds will take a few moments to reflect on his death, which occurred during a Formula 2 race at Hockenheim in April 1968.
2012 saw Dan Gurney, who has previously raced in Formula 1, Le Mans, Indy 500, NASCAR, Can-Am and Trans-Am, as the subject of the Driver Tribute.
Tickets for the Goodwood Revival, and also the Festival of Speed and Moving motor Show, are on sale now on the Goodwood website, with prices for the revival starting at £38.
