Jag releases first XFR-S teaser
A week before its official unveiling, Jaguar has revealed the first official image of its new performance car, the XFR-S.
Whilst the solitary image doesn’t reveal much, it does indicate that the XFR-S will receive a more aggressive front bumper, along with what appears to be a blue paint scheme that’s new to the XF range, and possibly exclusive to the XFR-S.
Whilst Jaguar is still yet to announce the technical details of the car, we understand it’s highly likely that it’ll feature the same 5.0, 542bhp supercharged V8 that can be found in the XKR-S coupe and convertible.
We also know that the car will feature a bodykit of some sorts that consists of, amongst other things, a prominent rear wing. However, as test mules were spotted with and without it, it’s likely that feature will be an optional extra, or perhaps part of an additional ‘Track Pack’.
More details and images of the XFR-S are expected to be revealed closer to or on the day of the car’s unveiling at next week’s LA Motor Show
