Jaguar XF Sportbrake Pictures Released Ahead of Geneva

Jaguar has released the first official pictures of the new Jaguar XF Sportbrake ahead of its official launch at the Geneva Motor Show in just over a week.

Supposedly ‘the most versatile Jaguar ever’, the Sportbrake weighs around 70 kg more but is just 5 mm longer than the XF saloon, and has a massive 1,675 litre boot space with the rear seats folded (550 litres with the rear seats up).

A 2.2 litre four cylinder engine and a 3.0 litre six-cylinder engine will be available at launch, both of which will be coupled to an eight-speed automatic gearbox.

No news yet on an S or R version, but with any luck the supercharged 5.0 litre V8 will make it into the Sportbrake sometime soon to compete with the likes of the new Audi RS4.
