New, Higher Quality, Stylish Toyota Yaris

The third generation Toyota Yaris has been unveiled, dubbed as a ‘higher quality, more stylish car with greater efficiency’.

Prices will start at £11,170 and top out at £15,385, with four grades available: the T2, TR, SR and T-Spirit.

All cars except the entry level version feature Toyota’s ‘Touch’ audio system, which includes touch screen controls, Bluetooth, USB connectivity and a rear parking camera.

The system can be upgraded to the ‘Touch and Go’ system, which provides full map satellite navigation and access to a range of connected information services that can be accessed and downloaded via a dedicated Toyota customer portal.

1 litre and 1.33 litre petrol engines are available, as well as a 1.4 litre turbo diesel, with 68 bhp and 93 Nm, 98 bhp and 125 Nm, and 89 bhp and 205 Nm respectively.

The petrol engines have either a five-speed-manual, or a seven speed automatic with sequential paddle-operated override.

The turbo diesel comes as standard with a six-speed manual gearbox.
