New Hyundai i30 Wagon

Hyundai has announced the addition of the i30 Wagon to the current i30 range.

It’ based on the 2012 i30 five-door, but with a longer body (by 185 mm to 4485 mm) to give passengers more leg room as well as improved boot space (from 378 litres to 528-litres, or 1,642 litres with the rear seats folded).

Allan Rushforth, Senior Vice President of Hyundai Europe, said: “The New Generation i30 has been widely praised for its style, quality, and value.  Our new wagon offers all of those attributes plus even greater load-carrying capacity.

“We expect it to appeal strongly to those looking for stylish and flexible practicality, especially active families.”

While the full specification will be released at Geneva, Hyundai has said the Wagon will go on sale in Europe with the same petrol and diesel engines as the five-door car, and that all vehicles will come with Hyundai’s ‘Five Year Triple Care’ package, which includes a five-year unlimited mileage warranty, five years’ roadside assistance, and five years of vehicle ‘health checks’.
