Porsche Tuner Uwe Gemballa Murdered

The head of German tuning company Gemballa, has been found murdered in South Africa.

Mr Uwe Gemballa was reported missing in February, after a business trip to South Africa, nothing has been reported of him, and South African police said that there was no evidence to suggest he was kidnapped.

However, his body was found yesterday near Pretoria, with his hands tied behind his body, covered head to foot in cellophane with a bullet wound to his head.

Gemballa travelled to South Africa with the intention of opening a showroom in Johannesburg.

The future for Gemballa Tuning (which specialises in Porsche models), or at least the management of the company, is uncertain.
