Range Rover Cosworth by Kahn

A Kahn Design, internationally renowned for modifying Range Rovers, has shown its new Imperial Blue Cosworth Edition for the first time.

Possibly one of the best looking cars, let alone Range Rovers, ever built the Imperial goes on sale today with the very distinct classic blue Cosworth colour scheme.

If the exclusive paint isn’t enough to distinguish the Imperial from other RR’s, it has wider vented front and rear wheel arches, integrated LED daytime running lights in the front air dams, brake calipers finished in ‘Liquid Gold’, Cosworth branding, and matt pearl grey or matt black paint door handles, side vents, grille surround and Cosworth machined and vented aluminium foot pedals – draw you in like a guiding light.

Inside, the traditional plush leather of the normal RR remains, but only in moderation – most of it has been thrown away and replaced with Kahn’s own ‘Cosworth’ leather, with the rest of the interior finished in carbon fibre.

Perhaps the most interesting styling features are the drilled aluminium Cosworth pedals, not to mention the optional dual side exhausts.

Illuminated sill plates are finished in carbon fibre, so before you even sit in the cabin you’re reminded this is not ‘standard’.

Oddly for a Kahn car, power is increased from the 5.0 litre V8 from the rather average 510 bhp, thanks to a modified ECU and supercharger.

Once again, Kahn has given another example of how buyers can customise their cars: “We could design for you a vehicle with an exterior matching your shoes and an interior the same shade of your living room, the choice is yours.”

22 inch Kahn RS wheels can be finished in any colour, the standard being matte grey.

Prices start at £63,875 – not bad for something with the ‘Cosworth’ badge.
