Range Rover Sport Vesuvius by Kahn

The most orange car to come in 2012 is this: the Range Rover Sport Vesuvius Edition by A. Kahn Design.

As well as the usual cosmetic changes to the front body panels and the addition of a big rear wing, Kahn has updated the 3.0 litre SDV6 diesel engine so it now produces 256hp at 4,000rpm and a rather impressive 600Nm of torque at 2,000rpm.

Connected to an eight speed automatic gearbox, not only does the diesel get a better fuel efficiency figure, but an improved 0-60 mph time too, now standing at just over 6 seconds.

New leather seats are fitted as standard, as is a modified dash and steering wheel.

But the car is all about customisation, so not only can you specify different seats but you can get rid of the rather terrible orange paint that adorns the press car, which on on sale now for a massive £73,875. But apparently it’s all worth the money – you get £25,000 worth of extras for a Range Rover that costs £78k as new.
