Sportier Maserati Quattroporte

Maserati has announced it will be making a sports package for the Maserati Quattroporte.

Just weeks after a hardcore Maserati GT S was announced, a package has become available that has been specially developed by Maserati’s race department.

Known as the MC Sport Line Quattroporte, it can be an addition to any normal Quattroporte, however, unlike the package for the GT S that was announced at the Paris Motor Show, the changes are mainly cosmetic.

There are minor suspension changes to make the car harder and a little less comfortable, and changes to the dampers and traction control, but the engine still produces 433 bhp from the 4.7 litre V8.

All the other changes are cosmetic and are seen on the inside of the car, rather than the outside. There will be drilled aluminium pedals, a carbon fibre dashboard and carbon fibre paddle shifters.
