Stars to take to the Top Gear Live Track

It has been announced that this November, Top Gear Live will not only have its own track, but a selection of stars to do battle in a ‘Reasonably Priced Car’.

Already confirmed is Harry Potter star Rupert Grint, who said: “I’m really looking forward to putting my time on the board.

“Hopefully, with a little bit of luck, the support of the crowd and some of The Stig’s wisdom of course, I can come out the winner!”

Joining Rupert will be Olympic Gold Medallist Amy Williams, Radio 2 breakfast show presenter, and massive petrol head, Chris Evans, Arsenal footballer Ian Wright, motoring enthusiast, and part time chef, James martin, ex-England footballer Jon Barnes, and world superbike champion Carl Fogarty.

But the list is by no means exhaustive, as many other stars are soon to be confirmed to set a time on the indoor track, specially designed by Lotus.

Speaking about the show, Amy Williams was very happy to be setting another time for the Top Gear lap time board: “I’m very excited to be coming to Top Gear Live and taking part on the all-new track. I really hope I can better my time from when I was on the TV show. It will be interesting to have a race indoors; at least everyone will get the same conditions and no rain like I had last time!”

The show is on at Birmingham’s NEC from November 11th-13, and London’s ExCel from 24th-27th November.
