Stephen Fry Joins TomTom

Presenter of BBC’s QI, and all-round comedy legend, Stephen Fry, has become the latest public figure to take on the role of directing the lost through TomTom’s sat nav systems.

Priced at £7.95, Fry joins other celebrities in TomTom’s repertoire, including John Cleese, Billy Connolly, Brian Blessed and Jeremy Clarkson.

Mr Fry’s most instructions include “Now then, after 500 yards you have reached your destination.  Congratulations.  I think I may be falling in love with you”, “So, let’s see now, after 300 yards turn left then go straight on.  This is going awfully well isn’t it?”, and our favourite, “Now when possible, could you turn around.  Ideally don’t do it when impossible.  Bless!”
