The Britalian Job

To celebrate the imminent start of the London Olympics, Mini has made ‘The Britalian Job’.

Sounds intriguing? Team GB and ParalympicsGB put forward some of their athletes to take part in a London based remake of the 1969 film The Italian Job.

Unfortunately, there’s no Michael Caine, but there is Daley Thompson, James Cracknell, Jonathan Edwards, Matthew Pinsent, and, weirdly, Jodie Kidd.

Graham Biggs, Communications Director at BMW UK, said “It’s been a great experience being involved in The Britalian Job – everyone in the cast became completely immersed in their roles and with seven Olympic Gold medals between us, we were obviously the right team for the job!”

And for that little extra sparkle, the whole film was directed by Phil Churchward, one of the directors of Top Gear.
