The Skoda Yeti Urban

Skoda has unveiled a special edition version of the Yeti: the Yeti Urban.

According to Skoda, its selling point, as well as a tad more exclusivity, is that customers receive £2450 worth of extra kit for no extra cost.

Special additions include the new DAB digital radio, an Amundsen+ sat-nav system, Bluetooth, a multi-function steering wheel 17-inch black-and-chrome ‘Matterhorn’ alloys wheels, wheel arch extensions, silver roof stripes, and red or black sports seats.

Unfortunately, the Urban only comes with front wheel drive, but it does at least have a manual gearbox, with a choice of either a 1.2 litre petrol or a 2.0 litre turbo diesel.

Four colours are available: Black Magic pearl effect, Candy White, Brilliant Silver metallic and Steel Grey metallic.

Other options include stainless steel pedals for £80, a sports exhaust trim for £50, and a Nextbase portable DVD player with twin 9-inch screens for £315.

The Yeti Urban goes on sale in April for £16,900 with the petrol engine and £18,330 for the diesel.
