Video: 2017 Audi A1 Review!
What makes a small car a good car? I suppose that’s quite a broad question, really, but we all look for different qualities. Some would want the most efficient car on the market, an understandable requirement, but I would happily sacrifice a few MPG for a bit of driving fun. For Audi the direction is clear: bring a premium name and premium qualities to the small car market.
The Audi A1 was launched way back in 2010 and since then it hasn’t changed an awful lot. There have been new engines, new gearboxes, and subtle styling tweaks, but the car remains much the same, so is it still good enough to compete with the much newer competition? Is it any good to drive? Does it feel like a premium small car, or like a small car with an Audi badge and little else? I thought it would be a good idea to find out.
