Video: Alfa Romeo Giulia Super Review!

A few weeks ago I wrote about the new Alfa Romeo Giulia Super, as you may have seen. Instead of a monstrous 500bhp twin-turbo V6 under the bonnet it had a much more sensible 180bhp diesel engine, and as it turned out it was actually rather good.

Of course inserting a diesel into the engine bay of an Alfa Romeo is like setting fire to an orphanage for many people, but Alfa Romeo can’t survive on petrol V6 or V8s forever. Thankfully, though, the chassis was good, the gearbox was brilliant, and the engine was quiet and capable. The car had some flaws, but it made a very strong case for itself; given the choice between a BMW 3 Series, Audi A4 or Mercedes E Class, I’d struggle not to walk towards the Alfa.

Now you get to enjoy the Giulia Super in full HD wonderfulness. If our photos haven’t quite done the car justice, hopefully the video will.
