VW CC Goes on Sale

Deliveries of the new VW CC begin today in the UK and Northern Ireland.

Standard specification, in theory, should give the likes of BMW and Mercedes a headache, as all new CC models include touch screen sat-nav, a DAB digital radio, iPod and Bluetooth connectivity, two zone climate control, 17” wheels, bi-xenon lights, and a brake energy recuperation system.

Prices for the basic 1.8 litre, 180 bhp TSI start at £24,200, and prices rise to £30,200 for the 2.0 litre, 170 bhp, Bluemotion TDI model.

Regardless of engine, customers can opt for different interior, the most expensive of which is the GT trim, which comes with High Beam Assist, Side Assist, Lane Assist, adaptive cruise control with City Emergency Braking, a rear-view camera, heated front seats with massage function, and an electrically deployed towbar.
